It is accessible to anyone who is curious to go deeper and widen their understanding of yogic practice. This is not an āsana class.

Is one 60-minute yoga class a week enough?

Part of me thinks there’s huge value in that dedicated hour on the mat. But another part wonders whether 10–15 minutes every day might actually have a bigger impact than one longer session.

In the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali says that practice becomes firmly grounded when it is done “for a long time, without interruption, and with devotion” (Yoga Sutra 1.14).

That makes me think consistency matters more than duration. But maybe it’s not either/or. Maybe that weekly class provides depth, while a short daily practice builds the habit.

The mornings are lighter, the air is warmer and there’s a bit less resistance to doing the thing you’ve been putting off. Join us in the park for a extra special Summer Solstice edition of Yoga in the Park. Marking the longest day of the year with a slower, more intentional start.

We’ll move through a gentle, grounding flow designed to wake up the body and ease you into the energy of the season with Lucia Gomez. There’ll be space to pause, breathe, and settle, followed by a short guided meditation - an opportunity to reflect, set a quiet intention, or simply enjoy a moment of stillness.

This Solstice edition is about keeping things simple: being outside, tuning in, and starting the day with a bit more awareness. Welcoming in Summer together!

9:45 am – 11am. The class will include some breath work, meditation and a relaxation at the end.
Open to all levels - just bring a mat and come as you are.
